Finn Geragusian played at Old Trafford, but Sunderland lost to Manchester United

Sunderland U18 failed to reach the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup, losing to Manchester United U18 in the quarter-final.

The match took place at the legendary Old Trafford stadium and ended with a 3–2 victory for the hosts. Sunderland U18 managed to take a 2–1 lead in the second half, but Manchester United snatched the win late in the game.

Armenia youth international forward Finn Geragusian played the full match, showing an active attacking performance, but was unable to help his team secure a positive result.

This match is expected to have been Geragusian’s last before joining the Armenia national team camp. At the same time, there is still a chance he could feature again for Sunderland — on March 21 with the U18s or March 23 with the U21s.
