Sunderland’s Finn Geragousian comments on his first call-up to the Armenia national team

18-year-old forward of English club Sunderland’s youth team, Finn Geragousian, shared his emotions after receiving his first call-up to the senior Armenia national team.

“It was incredible to get that call. Amazing feelings. It will be a great story when I go there to represent my country. My family is very proud of this. I can’t wait to start a new chapter with the Armenia national team, new coaches and players. It can bring new aspects to my game,” said Geragousian.

The 18-year-old striker also spoke about his first experience being called up to Sunderland’s senior team for an FA Cup match, emphasizing that it became an important step in his professional development.

Geragoussian received an invitation to the March training camp of the Armenia national team. During the camp, Armenia will play two friendly matches — against the UAE on March 26 and Belarus on March 29.
