Today, October 26, the first El Clásico of the 2025/26 season will take place in Madrid, featuring Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ahead of the match, both teams have announced their starting lineups.
Real Madrid’s coaching staff has prepared a few surprising decisions. Both right-backs — Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal — have been left on the bench, with Fede Valverde set to start in that position. In addition, Arda Güler will start on the attacking flank instead of Mastantuono.
Barcelona’s lineup comes without surprises — all key players are available. There were some doubts regarding Jules Koundé’s participation, but the French defender is in the starting eleven.
Lineups:
Real Madrid: Courtois — Valverde, Militão, Heisen, Carreras — Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Bellingham — Güler, Vinícius, Mbappé.
Barcelona: Szczęsny — Koundé, Eric García, Cubarsí, Balde — De Jong, Fermín López, Pedri — Lamine Yamal, Rashford, Torres.
Kickoff is at 18:15 Moscow time (19:15 Yerevan time).
The match will be broadcast in Russia on Match TV and in Armenia on Fast Sports.
