Eduard Spertsyan did it for the first time! A headed goal (VIDEO)

Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan achieved a unique milestone in the Round 15 Russian Premier League match against Baltika. In the 3rd minute, the midfielder opened the scoring with a header after an accurate cross from Gaëtan Perrin.
This goal was special for the 25-year-old leader of the team. Spertsyan is known for his versatility in finishing attacks: he has scored from free-kicks and penalties, with powerful long-range shots, with both his left and right foot, after solo runs and rebounds. But until now, he had never scored a header.
With this goal, Spertsyan’s official tally now includes:
- 51 goals for Krasnodar’s first team
- 17 goals for Krasnodar II
- plus goals in youth squads.
- And now, the long-awaited “first” header finally joins this list.

After the matchday, Eduard Spertsyan will join the Armenian national team for the final 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Hungary and Portugal. This will be his first time arriving as the national team captain.
