CSKA Player’s Debut
The players from Spanish academies have previously represented Armenia’s youth national teams. However, Vachik Tumanyan has received his first call-up to the national side.
Tumanyan is a graduate of Zenit Penza and has been playing for CSKA Moscow since 2023. In 2025 he played for CSKA U16, where he made 29 appearances, scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist. This season he has begun playing for CSKA U17 in the Youth Football League-1. His main position is winger or attacking midfielder.
The camp is part of the preparation for the second qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, which will take place in Armenia from April 24 to April 28.
Armenia’s opponents will be:
-
Luxembourg
-
Hungary
-
Liechtenstein
The squad is expected to undergo possible changes ahead of the official matches in April.
