Former Armenia international Edgar Babayan becomes a football agent

Former Armenia midfielder Edgar Babayan is starting a new chapter in football — this time as an agent. The 29-year-old ex-player announced the launch of his own agency, Asteria Collective Group, in Germany.

Alongside Babayan, football managers Caglar Koycu and Nicolai Brock-Madsen will also be part of the agency.

Babayan retired in 2024 at the age of 29 due to injury. For the Armenian national team, he made 16 appearances and scored once — against Italy.

At club level, Babayan played in the leagues of Denmark, Cyprus, and Latvia, leaving a notable mark on Scandinavian football.
