Urartu Basketball Club became the champion of Armenia and the winner of the ProBasket Armenia A-League for the 2025/26 season.

The final series against Hatis consisted of two games and was played in a tense battle. In the first game, Urartu secured a confident victory with a score of 86:71. In the second match, Hatis managed to take revenge, winning 94:90, however, based on the aggregate score of the two games, Urartu became the champion.

The decisive game took place at the Sports Management Center gym, where both teams delivered an exciting and intense match for the spectators. Despite Hatis winning the second game, Urartu’s advantage in point difference allowed the club to secure the championship title.

The most valuable player of the final match was Urartu basketball player William Paul Henderson, who scored 24 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and made 1 assist.

The championship-winning Urartu roster included Armenian national team players Daniel Kirakosyan, Daniil Gevorkyan, Arkadi Mkrtchyan, Karen Melikyan, and Araik Gevorkyan.

Hatis also features a player from the Armenian national team — center David Khachatryan.

Thus, Urartu finished the 2025/26 season at the top of Armenian basketball, winning the ProBasket Armenia A-League championship title.
