AZ travel to Yerevan with 23 players

Dutch side AZ have travelled to Yerevan for the first leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off against Armenian club FC Noah. The Alkmaar-based team departed from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Tuesday afternoon. The flight is expected to take approximately five hours.

The squad list includes 23 players. Sven Mijnans and Mexx Meerdink have returned after recovering from injuries and already featured last weekend. In addition, Kees Smit is back in the squad following a long absence.

Meanwhile, Wesley Patati remained in the Netherlands due to injury. This season he has made 32 appearances, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists.

The match will take place on February 19 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:45 local time.

For the Armenian club, this will be the first European play-off match in its history.
