Arthur Asoyan Reaches the Semi-Finals of the IMMAF 2026 European Championship in Belgrade

Armenian MMA fighter Arthur Asoyan (56.7 kg) made a successful start at the IMMAF European Championship among seniors. The tournament is being held in Belgrade and has brought together the strongest athletes from across the continent.

In his opening bout, Asoyan defeated Ukrainian fighter Stanislav Dremilyuga by unanimous decision, confidently advancing to the semi-finals.

Next, the Armenian fighter will face another Ukrainian representative, Nazar Tarasevych. The bout for a place in the final promises to be intense given the high level of competition at the tournament.

Arthur Asoyan is the only representative of Armenia at the 2026 Senior European Championship. By reaching the semi-finals, he has already secured at least a bronze medal. Earlier, Rafik Aleksanyan won bronze in the youth division.
