Arsen Harutyunyan to compete at Hype FC tournament in Yerevan on March 28

Four-time European freestyle wrestling champion Arsen Harutyunyan will take part in the Hype FC tournament, scheduled for March 28 in Yerevan at Tashir Arena. This will mark the first appearance of the decorated Armenian wrestler in a fight show format.

His opponent has not yet been officially announced. Earlier, media reports discussed a संभावी grappling bout against Muhammad Mokaev, but this option has not been confirmed. It is also possible that the match will take place under freestyle wrestling rules against another opponent. Organizers promise a high-profile name.

Until now, Harutyunyan has competed exclusively in traditional wrestling formats — at international tournaments, in the German Bundesliga, and in the PWL league. Moving to a fight promotion platform represents a new stage in his career.

The Hype FC tournament in Yerevan will mainly feature MMA bouts, but fans can also expect exciting grappling matchups.
