Arsen Harutyunyan signs with RAF league and will debut after the European Championships

Armenian wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan has signed a contract with the Real American Freestyle (RAF) league and will begin competing in the new organization after the 2026 European Wrestling Championships, scheduled to take place from April 20 to 26.

The athlete announced this in a conversation with journalists after the HYPE FC tournament, where he defeated Bagdat Zhubanysh.

The league’s upcoming event, RAF 08, will take place on April 18, but Harutyunyan will not compete there. His debut as a four-time European champion is expected at the following event of the organization.

Harutyunyan’s move to RAF could become one of the most notable events in freestyle wrestling, given his international achievements and the high level of competition in the new league.
