Armenian figure skater Konstantin Smirnov wins silver at tournament in Oslo

Armenian figure skater Konstantin Smirnov won the silver medal at the international Sonja Henie Trophy 2026 tournament held in Oslo, Norway.
The 16-year-old athlete scored 162.68 points and finished second in the junior competition, уступив only to a representative from Finland. In total, nine skaters from Finland, the Czech Republic, Armenia, Norway, Sweden, Slovakia, and Switzerland took part in the junior event.
Konstantin Smirnov was born in Yekaterinburg, but has represented Armenia since 2024. The athlete trains under coach Asmik Vardanyan.
