Armenian professional boxer based in Belgium, Geram Eloyan (13-6), was unable to successfully defend his EBU Silver title in the super bantamweight division. Facing Italian fighter Francesco Da Rosa (12-0), he lost by technical knockout in the 10th round.
The bout took place on December 5 in Sardinia, where Da Rosa fought in front of a home crowd and managed to demonstrate clear dominance throughout the fight. The undefeated Italian increased the pressure with each round, and in the tenth, the referee stopped the contest, recording a TKO victory for Da Rosa.
This was Eloyan’s first title defense after winning the belt in May 2025 with a surprising victory over Spain’s Jordan Camacho (11-1). However, he was unable to retain the title — the EBU Silver belt now goes to Francesco Da Rosa, who solidifies his status as one of the division’s most promising fighters.
