Armenian clubs are divided over increasing the Premier League foreign player limit

Armenian football clubs have expressed differing positions regarding the proposal by the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) to increase the number of Armenian players in the Premier League.
The FFA proposal includes the following changes:

There must be 4 Armenian players on the field simultaneously instead of the current 3.

Up to 10 Armenian players can be included in the match squad instead of 9.
Against increasing the limit:

They proposed keeping the current rules unchanged.
Supporting the FFA proposal:

The issue will continue to be discussed after the national team break.
According to the current FFA regulations on professional football competitions, the following rule applies in the Armenian Premier League:
“Of the 23 players included in the match protocol, 9 must train in the Republic of Armenia or be members of the Armenian national team / different age-group teams. At least 3 players who trained in Armenia or are members of the national team / different age-group teams must be on the field simultaneously.”
