Clubs of the Armenian Premier League — Urartu, Pyunik, Alashkert, and BKMA — have congratulated Noah on their almost guaranteed qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League playoffs.
“Congratulations to Noah on their fighting victory over Warsaw’s Legia in the Conference League and on practically securing a place in the playoff stage of the tournament,” Pyunik wrote on social media.
“Congratulations to Noah on their victory over Warsaw’s Legia in the Conference League, which effectively secures the club’s participation in the playoff stage,” Urartu wrote.
“Congratulations to FC Noah on this important victory!” BKMA wrote.
Meanwhile, Alashkert congratulated the team by posting a story.
After a 2–1 victory over Poland’s Legia in Matchday 5, the Armenian club’s chances of reaching the playoffs are estimated at 99.9%. Thus, Noah is close to becoming the first Armenian club in history to play in the playoff stage of a European competition.
After five matchdays, Noah has collected 8 points and sits 17th in the overall standings, which virtually guarantees a top-24 finish and qualification for the Round of 32 of the Conference League.
In the final round on December 18, Noah will play away against Dynamo Kyiv. The match will be held at a neutral venue in Lublin, Poland. In case of a victory, the Armenian club could improve its position in the table and secure a more favorable opponent in the Round of 32. It should be noted that Dynamo Kyiv has already lost its chances of reaching the playoffs, having only 3 points.
