Armenian judokas to open international season at tournaments in Antalya and Tbilisi

Armenian judo athletes will begin the 2026 international season by competing at prestigious tournaments in Turkey and Georgia. The country’s U17 youth team will take part in the European Cup in Antalya, while the senior national team will compete at the 2026 Grand Slam series event in Tbilisi.
The Cadet European Cup will take place in Antalya on March 7–8. A total of 12 representatives from Armenia will participate in the competition.

Later in March, Armenia’s senior national team will also step onto the international tatami at the Grand Slam event in Tbilisi. The tournament will be held from March 20 to 22.

The tournaments in Antalya and Tbilisi will become the first international starts for Armenian judokas in 2026. The Armenian national team has already missed two Grand Slam events and two European Cups earlier this year.
