Armenia Wins Two Gold Medals on Opening Day of European Shooting Championship in Yerevan

On March 1, the first medals of the 10-meter European Shooting Championship were awarded in Yerevan. The Armenian national team made a strong start to the home tournament, winning four medals, including two golds.
The main heroines of the day were two athletes with the same name — Lilit Mkrtchyan (Armenia). The 29-year-old five-time European champion won gold in the women’s 10m moving target event. Another Lilit Mkrtchyan (Armenia) claimed victory in the under-21 girls’ competition.
