Armenia U19 draw with Turkey in EURO qualification (VIDEO)

The Armenia U19 national team drew with Turkey (1:1) in the second round of the first qualifying stage of EURO 2026/27.

The match took place in Antalya (Turkey). The Armenian team opened the scoring in the 17th minute: Michael Asiryan scored after an assist from David Davtyan. However, in the 35th minute, the hosts equalized.

It should be noted that in the first round, the Armenian team played to the same 1:1 draw with Kosovo. Meanwhile, Kosovo defeated Gibraltar 7:0 on the same matchday.

Thus, in order to finish first in the group, Armenia must beat Gibraltar by a margin of at least eight goals, while the match between Kosovo and Turkey must end in a draw. Only one team from the group will advance to League A.

The decisive third round will take place on March 30.
