From February 16 to 23, the first stage of the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup will take place in Cottbus, Germany. The tournament will traditionally be hosted in one of the world’s gymnastics centers — the city of Cottbus — where the strongest athletes on the planet will gather to open a new Olympic cycle of the prestigious series.
The Armenian national team will compete with four gymnasts:
Hamlet Manukyan
Mamikon Khachatryan
Artur Avetisyan
Artur Davtyan
Special attention is focused on the team leaders. Hamlet Manukyan is the 2025 World Cup series winner on pommel horse, while Artur Davtyan claimed the overall 2025 World Cup title in vault, confirming his status as one of the strongest specialists in the discipline.
The Cottbus stage will be an important test for Armenian gymnasts at the beginning of the 2026 season and the first step in the fight for medals in the new World Cup series.
