Armen Petrosyan Returns to the Winning Path with a Knockout in Krasnoyarsk

On October 4 in Krasnoyarsk, at the joint MFP / Open FC event, former UFC fighter Armen Petrosyan (9-5) scored a spectacular victory, knocking out Igor Svirid (20-15) in the very first round.

For "Superman," this fight marked a long-awaited return to the winning track: the 34-year-old Armenian snapped a four-fight losing streak, three of which came under MMA rules.

It should be recalled that Petrosyan left the UFC in March 2025, after which he lost to Ivan Shtyrkov in a kickboxing match. The victory in his native Krasnoyarsk allowed him to loudly declare the start of a new chapter in his career.
