Ahead of RAF 07, set to take place on the night of March 28–29 in Tampa, tensions between Arman Tsarukyan and Giorgio Poullas have already reached a boiling point before they even step onto the mat.
During the pre-fight press conference, Poullas made a provocative “joke” involving his opponent’s personal life. Tsarukyan quickly shut it down, making it clear that family is off-limits:
“You should never talk about my family — my mother, my sisters, or my girlfriend. Whoever mentions my family will die. It doesn’t matter if it’s RAF, UFC, or anything else. Respect women,” Tsarukyan said.
Poullas replied: “It wasn't just a joke.”
The situation escalated further when Tsarukyan brought up the controversial $10,000 reward for a takedown in their first fight. Poullas tried to brush it off humorously, but that only intensified the conflict.
Tensions continued during the face-off, where both fighters attempted to get close and throw strikes before organizers stepped in to prevent a fight. A similar situation occurred involving co-main event fighters Colby Covington and Dillon Danis.
Their first meeting at RAF 06 ended in a major scandal and a mass brawl, adding even more intrigue to the upcoming rematch.
