Armenian UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan will compete at the HYPE FC Brazil tournament, scheduled to take place on March 11 in Rio de Janeiro. His appearance will serve as the main event of the evening.
Tsarukyan will once again step into a grappling match under submission-only rules. He previously competed in the same format at the HYPE FC event in Yerevan on December 30 against Shara Bullet. That contest ended in a draw.
The name of Arman’s new opponent has not yet been announced; however, according to preliminary information, it may be a representative of Brazil. The organizers have confirmed that Tsarukyan’s bout will headline the tournament in Rio.
Several matchups for the HYPE FC Brazil card have already been announced. UFC fighters Shara Bullet and Jorge Masvidal will also compete under submission-only rules. In the co-main event, another UFC representative, Jean Silva, will take part in a grappling match. His opponent will be announced at a later date.
In addition, bare-knuckle fights featuring Brazilian athletes are scheduled for the preliminary card.

It is worth recalling that on March 1, Arman Tsarukyan competed in a freestyle wrestling bout at the RAF 06 tournament in Arizona. The event ended in a brawl fight that was widely discussed on social media.
