UFC lightweight division’s No. 1 contender Arman Tsarukyan will headline the Hype Fighting tournament, which will take place on December 30 in Yerevan, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
Organizers report that the name of his opponent will be announced later. With a high degree of probability, the bout will be held under grappling or Brazilian jiu-jitsu rules rather than in the bare-knuckle format used in the rest of the event. Under UFC regulations, Arman Tsarukyan is allowed to compete only in grappling, BJJ, or other wrestling-based tournaments.
