In Yerevan, at Urartu-1 Stadium, a tense second-leg quarter-final took place, where Urartu hosted Ararat. The match was eventful and ended with a 3–2 win for the visitors, but Urartu advanced to the semi-finals on aggregate.
Despite playing at home, Urartu faced serious resistance. In the 25th minute, Guy Lima opened the scoring to put Ararat ahead. However, the response was immediate: in the 27th minute, Aleksandr Lyovye restored parity. Towards the end of the first half, Nicholas Kaloukian put Urartu in front — 2:1.
In the second half, the visitors increased the pressure, and their persistence paid off. In the 89th minute, Moussa Kante equalized, and in stoppage time, Kalifala Doumbia scored the winning goal — 3:2 for Ararat.
Nevertheless, it was not enough. Urartu’s convincing 3–0 victory in the first leg allowed Robert Arzumanyan’s team to maintain their aggregate advantage (5–3) and secure a place in the semi-finals.
Earlier, Noah had already booked their spot in the next round. Today, two more semi-finalists will be determined:
Andranik vs Syunik (first leg — 0:0)
