Andranik is the only First League team in the Armenian Cup semifinals

Football club Andranik became the only representative of the First League to reach the semifinals of the Armenian Cup.

In a clash between two second-division teams, the side led by Aram Voskanyan confidently defeated Syunik. After a goalless draw in the first leg, Andranik crushed their opponent 5–2 in the return match.

The standout performer of the match was Honore Justin Camille Ye, who scored a brace. Erik Petrosyan, Vache Hakobyan, and Mikael Chukwuka Ndidi also added one goal each.

For Syunik, Petros Afajanyan and Armen Hovhannisyan found the net.

The final semifinalist will be determined in the match between Shirak and Ararat-Armenia.
