Anahit Aroyan Defends WBA Intercontinental Title in Dubai

Armenian boxer Anahit Aroyan (17–1) successfully defended her WBA Intercontinental title with a dominant victory over Zambia’s Alice Mbewe (8–3–1).

The bout took place during a BATL Promotions boxing event in Dubai. The fight went the full 8 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision in favor of Aroyan. The judges’ scorecards reflected her clear advantage: 80–72, 79–73, and 79–73.

With this victory, Aroyan improved her professional record to 17 wins and 1 loss, retained her WBA Intercontinental title, and confirmed her status as one of the top fighters in the women’s bantamweight division.
