Armenian MMA fighter Eduard Vartanyan returns to ACA

ACA league president Magomed Bibulatov announced that 34-year-old Armenian MMA fighter Eduard Vartanyan has signed a contract with the organization. The name of his opponent and the weight class will be revealed at the press conference immediately after today’s ACA 197 event in Moscow.

Vartanyan is well-known to ACA fans: he competed in the league from 2015 to 2023, winning the lightweight Grand Prix by defeating Artyom Reznikov in the final. After the Grand Prix success, he attempted to move to the UFC, but the transfer ultimately did not happen.

After leaving ACA, Vartanyan competed in “Nashe Delo” and Fight Nights, and is now preparing for a new stage of his career in the league that is native to him. More details about his return will be announced today at the press conference.
