The season in Norway’s PostNord-ligaen Avd. 2 — the country’s third-tier division — has concluded. Among the brightest stars was 19-year-old Armenian forward Albert Aleksanjan, who had an outstanding campaign for Ullensaker/Kisa, becoming one of the revelations of the team.
The tall striker (193 cm) was born in Latvia but has lived in Norway since childhood. He holds both Latvian and Norwegian citizenships and is also eligible to represent Armenia through his heritage. Despite that, Aleksanyan has not yet been called up to any of Armenia’s youth national teams.
Despite his imposing frame, Aleksanyan stands out for his speed, technique, and ability to operate effectively on the wings. His main position is left winger, but he also performs well on the right flank.
In the recently concluded season, Albert became Ull/Kisa’s second top scorer, helping the club finish fifth in the league.
Albert Aleksanjan’s 2025 season stats:
-
10 goals — PostNord-ligaen (first team)
-
4 goals — reserve team (4th division)
-
2 goals — U19 championship
-
1 goal — Norwegian Cup
Total: 20 goals in the season!
In addition, Aleksanjan registered at least six assists — the league doesn’t keep official assist stats, but by our count, he made no fewer than six decisive passes.
Aleksanjan impresses not only with his strength and physique but also with his intelligent vision, dribbling, and decision-making in the final third. Thanks to his versatility and consistency, he has become one of the most exciting young players in the division.
After such a breakout season, it’s highly likely that the 19-year-old Armenian forward will continue his career in a higher-level league.
