18-year-old Hamlet Manukyan named Best Gymnast of 2025 by fans

European champion, Universiade gold medalist and World Cup winner, 18-year-old Armenian athlete Hamlet Manukyan has been named the Best Gymnast of 2025 following a fan vote.
The poll was conducted on the official website of the International Gymnastics Federation. According to the results, Manukyan received 51% of the votes — more than 1,030,000 votes — which allowed him to confidently secure first place.
In the race for the title of Best Gymnast of the Year, the Armenian athlete surpassed Azerbaijan’s representative, European trampoline champion Tofig Aliyev, who finished in second place.
The victory in the voting marks another significant achievement in the rapidly developing career of the young Armenian gymnast, who at just 18 years old is already among the world’s leading athletes.
