Davud Tuma is a German footballer of Armenian descent and a graduate of the Arminia Bielefeld academy. He was born into a family of Armenians whose ancestors were once forced to leave Turkey. Until 2016, the player bore the surname Gügör, but upon reaching adulthood, he exercised his right to change it and restored the historical surname of his ancestors, which had belonged to them even before the Armenian Genocide.
